Toddlers
It is our privilege to nurture each child we welcome into our nursery and to embark on a journey of exploration, discovery and learning.
Toddlers are curious about the world and increasingly keen to try things for themselves. Our classroom gives them space to explore, enjoy stories, build, move and discover through play.
Our curriculum supports these early experiences of learning and growing independence in a nurturing, child-friendly environment. Carefully chosen activities, challenges and engaging resources encourage children’s curiosity and extend their thinking.
Children learn through purposeful play. Our educators balance freely chosen exploration with meaningful adult interaction, small-group experiences and short, engaging shared activities suited to children’s interests and attention.
Feeling Secure, Growing Independent. Warm relationships give toddlers the confidence to make choices, explore and try things for themselves. We support their growing independence in dressing, mealtimes and toilet learning, at each child’s pace and in partnership with families, while helping them express feelings and play alongside others.
